Oh wow, have you ever taken a dolphin cruise in Destin, Florida? I have to say, it's one of the most amazing experiences you can have here in the US! There are so many different options to choose from, but I recently had the pleasure of going on two different cruises that I have to tell you about.
The Southern Star Dolphin Cruise
If you're looking for a family-friendly and educational experience, the Southern Star Dolphin Cruise is definitely the way to go! The cruise is two hours long and takes you out into the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. While you're on the cruise, the captain and crew will be giving you interesting facts about the dolphins and the local ecology.
One of the things I really enjoyed about this cruise was the guarantee they offer - if you don't see any dolphins on your trip, you get to ride again for free! Luckily, I did get to see some dolphins on my trip, and it was absolutely amazing. These intelligent creatures are so playful and curious, and you can tell they enjoy showing off for the people on the boat. It was definitely an unforgettable experience.
The Original Sea Blaster Dolphin Cruise
If you're looking for a high-speed adventure, the Original Sea Blaster Dolphin Cruise might be more up your alley. This cruise is also two hours long and takes you out into the Gulf of Mexico to see the dolphins. However, this cruise is much faster and takes you further out into the water than the Southern Star Dolphin Cruise.
The crew on this boat is also incredible - they're hilarious and do their best to make sure everyone is having a great time. They put on an entertaining show with music, water guns, and yes, even a dancing crew member or two! And of course, there's plenty of time to spot dolphins. We ended up seeing a huge pod of dolphins on this trip, and it was such a rush to watch them swim alongside the boat as we cruised by.
Overall, I would say that both of these dolphin cruises are definitely worth checking out if you're ever in Destin. Whether you're on a family vacation or just looking for something fun to do, you're sure to have an unforgettable experience. So book your tickets, grab your sunscreen, and get ready for an adventure!
